Haywards Heath Golf Club
Mixed Golf events play an important part of the Club's life and are very well supported by the members. These games are played predominantly during the Spring and Summer months.
Rosebowl played in May |
Atchley & Coronation Cups played in April and September |
Captain's Cup played in June |
Bill Watters Quaich played in July |
Dick Heaver Salvers played in August |
Married Couples Cup - knockout |
Mixed Foursomes Challenge Cup - knockout |
There are two drawn matches played between the Men/Seniors and Ladies each year, The Wat-Rich Cup and the Sixsmith Salver.
The Club plays mixed home and away matches against several other Sussex Clubs on an annual basis, namely Copthorne, Holtye, Ifield, Mid Sussex, Royal Eastbourne, Seaford Head, Willingdon and Worthing. Some of these matches are played during the week - others at weekends. A convivial supper always follows the golf.
A series of five events, known as "Mixed Foursomes" (formerly "Evening Foursomes") are held mainly on Saturday afternoons from April to October and are very well supported - often by more than 60 players, most of whom attend the Presentation of Prizes and Supper in the evening - non-golfing partners are very welcome to attend the supper
