Whether you are trying golf for the first time, you have played occasionally paying a green fee, played in occasional society days, or you are returning to golf, HHGC's Academy is the place for you.

The Club's team of experienced Golf Professionals will adjust what they teach to ensure it is personal to you and that you gain the most from the series of one-to-one lessons. If you already have the fundamentals then there is little need to dwell on the grip, the stance or the swing. Let us move on quickly to learn about playing the game like the good golfers.

At just £595 the Academy is stunning value. On signing up you will receive 10 personalised lessons with a qualified PGA Professional at times and on days to suit you. Your Professional is always available for extra advice too. There are 1,000 practice balls on the Club's covered driving range just waiting to be hit. Then there is the nine holes of golf on ten afternoons when you can put into practice what has been taught..

Being part of the Academy also gives you access to the facilities of the Club. Haywards Heath Golf Club is not just about golf, it is a welcoming, friendly Club with a great atmosphere. Being part of the Club is about meeting like minded people and socialising in the Clubhouse bars and the comfortable lounge. Your Academy Membership Card will qualify you also for a discount on food and drinks at the Bar.

Once through the Academy you are ready to start playing and submitting those important three cards for your first handicap. Your plan should be to progress to one of the playing memberships available at Haywards Heath. Young (18 to 34 years), Five Day or Full membership for the golfer able to devote the time and energy to their game.

Within a few weeks or months you can be a fully fledged golfer, playing in competitions, winning silverware and representing the Club in matches and Opens. When not on the golf course there is always the pleasure of friendship and camaraderie in the Clubhouse, with the tall tales about the putts that were missed and the shots that nearly came off!
