Full
For members over the age of 39 years*. Full members have unrestricted access to the golf course and Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for competitions and functions. Guests can be invited to play on the course at a reduced rate green fee. Full members are entitled to attend and vote at General Meetings.
Five Day
A category with a discounted subscription rate for members who are restricted to playing only on weekdays. Five-day members have unrestricted access to the golf course on Mondays to Fridays (including Bank Holidays) and full seven days a week use of the Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for competitions and functions. Guests can be invited to play on the course during the week at a reduced rate green fee. Five-day members can play on the course at weekends on payment of a guest rate green fee. They are entitled to attend and vote at General Meetings.
Young
A playing membership for those aged 18 to 39 years* (inclusive). Four categories (36-39, 35 & Under, 30 & Under, 25 & Under, 20 & Under) with a discounted subscription rate to encourage younger golfers to enjoy membership. Young members have unrestricted access to the golf course and Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for competitions and functions. Guests can be invited to play on the course at a reduced rate green fee. Young members are entitled to attend and vote at General Meetings.
Student/Under 23
A playing membership for those between the ages of 18 and 23 years* in full time education or under 21. Student members have unrestricted access to the golf course and Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for competitions and functions. Guests can be invited to play on the course at a reduced rate green fee. Student members have no voting rights.
Country
A category with a discounted subscription rate for members who reside and have a place of business beyond 15 miles of the Clubhouse 'As the Crow Flies'. Country members can enjoy a maximum of 25 x 18 hole rounds per year. Country members can play in all competitions and invite guests to play on the course at a reduced rate green fee. Country members are not entitled to vote at General Meetings.
Overseas
A category with a discounted subscription rate for members who reside outside the United Kingdom mainland for more than six months of the year. Overseas Members may play a maximum of 25 x 18 hole rounds per year. Overseas members have unrestricted access to the Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for functions. Overseas members can play in all competitions except knock-outs, and invite guests to play on the course at a reduced rate green fee. Overseas members are not entitled to vote at General Meetings.
Flexible
A membership category where playing rights are restricted to the use of pre-purchased credits, the total number of which can be bought in any year is limited. Members have unrestricted access to the golf course and basic competitions when they use their credits. The rate at which credits are used and the number of times they can be topped up may be changed over time. Guests can be invited to play on the course at a reduced rate green fee. The Clubhouse facilities are available at all times to Flexible members and they can play on the course after they have used up their allocation of credits on payment of a guest rate green fee. Flexible members have no voting rights.
Academy
Academy is for those who are new to golf or returning after a long absence. The subscription includes a full set of lessons from the Professionals who will work with the member towards gaining a handicap. The objective is for those in Academy membership to transfer into one of the playing categories as soon as they are ready, up to a maximum of two years. Academy members have a limited allowance of rounds on the course but full use of the Clubhouse and its facilities. They have no voting rights.
Junior
A category for boys and girls over the age of 10 years* and under 18 years* Their access to the course and adult competitions is restricted both by timing and ability. Juniors are encouraged to gain proficiency at golf and learn the rules and etiquette. Until they reach a level of competence they will be confined to playing in the afternoons at weekends, although all day during the week. They will be allowed to enter adult competitions on achieving an acceptable standard of playing ability. Only other Juniors can be invited as guests of a Junior and play the course on payment of a junior guest rate green fee. Juniors have no voting rights.
Social
Membership of the Club for those who do not play golf. Social members have unrestricted access to the Clubhouse around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for functions and events. They can invite guests to join them at the Clubhouse who are then able to enjoy all the facilities in the clubhouse. Social members can hire the facilities for private functions and events. Social members have no voting rights. Social members cannot use the golf facilities.
Corporate
Available to bona-fide businesses, incorporated organisations, partnerships or associations. To be admitted to membership on such terms and conditions as are agreed by the Management Committee on a case by case basis. Corporate members have no voting rights.
*When determining the age of a prospective member, his/her age is deemed to be that as on the 1st May of the year of subscription.
